570 NEXT Initiative Participant Application Summary
The application is open to Luzerne County residents who are current high school freshmen through first-year college students. Applicants must be able to explain how charitable assistance would help them move past a specific barrier and continue working toward their goals. Awards are generally limited to a maximum of $500 per applicant, though larger requests may be considered case by case based on available funding and individual circumstances.
Applicants are asked to provide basic contact and school/program information, answer four short application questions, and explain their funding request. The application questions ask applicants to describe how their situation aligns with the fund’s mission, identify their next goal, explain the barrier standing in their way, and describe how support from the 570 NEXT Initiative would help them move forward.
Applicants should submit supporting documentation when available, such as an estimate, invoice, tuition statement, registration form, training fee, equipment or transportation cost, or proof of enrollment or participation. If formal documentation is not available, applicants may include a brief explanation or supporting note.
Completed applications and required documentation should be emailed to info@570next.org. Applicants should include their name in the email subject line and attach all supporting materials with the application.
